Due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, The Tea Party’s Jeff Martin has today postponed his upcoming 27-date Australian tour, with plans to reschedule the shows for later this year.

The Set In Stone tour was set to kick off 27 March in support of Martin’s recent single of the same name, showcasing new material from his forthcoming solo release as well as a selection of fan favourites from his deep back catalogue.

In a statement released on Facebook, Martin has said that "all dates will be rebooked and we look forward to seeing everyone in a healthy + safe environment".

"In the meantime, our hearts go out to all our fellow music industry brothers and sisters, including all our beloved venue partners, it’s going to be an immensely tough few months ahead – our industry is delicate at the best of times and we will need to support one another as best we can, however we can."

If you haven't listened to Set In Stone yet, the track is currently available to download for free on Martin's website. Martin has said of the song that it's a “deep, dark and dirty” blues jam inspired "the eternal battle between the light and dark side of our psyche".

"It’s that battle that continues to fuel my poetic fire. To understand and respect both sides, for me, makes me feel complete as an artist."
