Another batch of acts have been added to The Cooper's Amp list invited to enter this year's Australian Music Prize, with indie inclusions like Ball Park Music, The Rubens, Tim Rogers and Collarbones.

Kobalt Label Services has launched in Australia. The publishing house has struck a physical distribution deal with Inertia, marking another alternative to the traditional label deal.

Sydney-based post rockers Sleepmakeswaves have been named as the support for 65daysofstatic's national tour late this year and early next for the Peats Ridge Festival. It must be something about having no spaces in their names. Local acts will also get the opening slot in their respective cities.

Tasmanian locals Luca Brasi will join US hardcore act Title Fight on the road for their Australia-wide tour in March of next year.
