Plus new tunes from Amy Shark, Dream Wife, Nothing But Thieves, Maddy Jane and more
In-demand Melbourne trio Cable Ties have nabbed Feature Album privileges on triple j this week for their self-titled debut full-length, due out on Poison City Records this Friday.
The good news and signal boost comes just a few weeks out from their recently announced headline tour, which kicks off early June in Ballarat, with additional dates in Castlemaine, Hobart, Melbourne, Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney and Adelaide, so there are plenty of opportunities to get out and celebrate with them at a show.
Also picking up airplay this week is Gold Coast darling Amy Shark, looking to maintain the momentum afforded her by smash-hit Adore with new single Drive You Mad, as well as the likes of Dream Wife (Somebody), Nothing But Thieves (Amsterdam), ODESZA (Light Of Sight ft WYNNE/Mansionair) and more.
Spot additions go to Sunny Coast songstress Ayla, back on the airwaves with Shallow End, as well as The National's ostentatiously titled The System Only Dreams In Total Darkness and rising Tassie singer-songwriter Maddy Jane, with her excellent new single No Other Way, among others.
