It’s official: Bad Bunny has landed in Australia. That means just one thing: his highly anticipated DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour is finally touching down in Sydney this weekend.

Bad Bunny, aka Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, is a Puerto Rican rapper and singer. Recognised as the King of Latin Trap, he has developed an extraordinary career, catapulting Spanish-language rap music to the mainstream like no one else.

The three-time GRAMMY and 11-time Latin GRAMMY Award winner will make his Australian debut at Sydney’s ENGIE Stadium this weekend. Due to extraordinary demand, the one-off show has expanded to feature two concerts, both at the stadium.

Bad Bunny’s first shows in Australia come after his spectacular, mostly Spanish-language Halftime Show at Super Bowl LX, which created waves around the world.

The show, with guests including Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin, attracted 128.2 million viewers. In the immediate aftermath, not only did the performance turn the Puerto Rican superstar into an even greater global phenomenon, but it also sparked interest in South American culture and travel.

In Australia, the 14-minute show, held earlier this month, led to his appearance on an unexpected ARIA Singles Chart list. The track DtMF from early 2025 jumped from #75 to #4 – up 71 spots, immediately following his Super Bowl Halftime Show.

In 40+ years since the ARIA Chart came into being, only 12 other tracks had such a long leap, including songs by Silverchair, David Bowie & Mick Jagger, Madonna, Spacey Jane, and others.

Ahead of Bad Bunny’s highly anticipated Australian debut, The Music has gathered up everything you need to know.

DATES & VENUE

Bad Bunny will take over Sydney’s ENGIE Stadium on Saturday, 28 February, and Sunday, 1 March.

TICKETS

Last week, tour promoters Live Nation released additional tickets to the previously sold-out shows. The promoters introduced two new sections – Los Vecinos, featuring a grandstand right behind the stage, and Stage Pit 1 & 2, located right against the stage on the left and right-hand sides – and released a limited number of restricted-view tickets.

Very limited tickets remain via Ticketmaster.

TIMES

Live Nation has already revealed important times that punters need to know. External merchandise, located within the dome at Sydney Showground, will be available from 12 pm. Gates for the shows open at 5 pm, followed by a 7 pm start time for the show. At the time of publication, it’s unknown if a special guest will perform before Bad Bunny.

TRANSPORT

Ticketholders are advised to arrive at ENGIE Stadium early and allow extra time, as multiple events are taking place across the precinct. Parking at Sydney Olympic Park is available, but it’s likely to sell out early since it requires pre-booking. However, punters getting dropped off and picked up are advised to utilise the Olympic Boulevard location.

Public transport is recommended for the large number of people attending both shows. Travel is included with your ticket, and express and limited-stop trains will run to get you to and from the show.

Head to the Sydney Showground website for more advice about travelling to and from the show.
