Gotye's US Number 1 Sets Digital Sales Record

Gotye stays number one in the States while fellow Aussies Sia and Havana Brown rise up the US charts as well.

More Gotye Gotye Profile

Gotye's third week at number one in the US with Somebody That I Used To Know has set a digital sales record.

Billboard report that the song has become, "the first to tally three weeks of digital sales of at least 400,000."

The previous record holders of two weeks each of digital sales of more than 400,000 are: Flo Rida's Right Round, Bruno Mars' Grenade and Lady Gaga's Born This Way.

And again, Sia is the second Australian in the top ten with Gotye, as Sia's Flo Rida collaboration Wild Ones remains at number six. Sia's David Guetta collab, Titanium, also leaps from 79 to 63 this week.

Sydney's Havana Brown also rises to her highest spot in the US Hot 100 this week as her We Run The Night collab with Pitbull moves to 91.

Gotye's Somebody also spends its ninth week atop the US Alternative Chart and soars to number two on the US Dance/Club Play Chart.
