Songwriter and former front man of late noughties band Rumanastone, Ash Hansen tragically passed away in October last year.
The musician was in the final stages of releasing new solo material when he was diagnosed with a virulent melonoma that took his life just five weeks later at the age of 39.
And now, close friend and respected music industry figure Millie Millgate has promised to see through Hansen's project and release Transmission; a collection of his songs he recorded before his death, which he intended to release as Like Wires.
A pledge campaign has been launched to help raise money to manufacture and ship the album for a physical and digital release. Any profits raised from the pledge will go towards Australian charity, Support Act.

The charity are known for their work with those in the music industry who have suffered illness or injury, and they have been incredibly supportive to Hansen and his family after his diagnosis.
In support of the campaign, the first single off the posthumous record, entitled Satellite, will be available for download to those who pledge, as well as a digital download of the full album.
Pledges can be made here and the new track can be listened to by clicking on the song title.
