TSIM (Not TISM) Announce Support Acts For 'No Mistakes' Tour

From Totally Unicorn to Slag Queens, TISM have detailed the local acts who will be joining them on the upcoming No Mistakes Tour.

As TISM (or TSIM, as their tour jovially renames them) prepare to hit the road for their first national trek in 30 years, the masked Melbourne mirthmakers have announced the supports for their upcoming run of shows.

Launching their shows in Hobart on October 1st, Slag Queens will be on deck for the Tasmanian return, while Laura And The Hell Cutz, Stupid Fuck The Silly Clown, and Techno 666 take the stage for their three Melbourne dates.

In Adelaide, it's Placement and Oscar The Wild, while Brisbane features Shock Value on the bill, Canberra boasts The Fuelers, and Legs Electric open proceedings in Perth. Laura And The Hell Cutz again show up for the two Sydney dates, with Itchy And The Nits appearing at the first date, and The Lost Futures on the second.

Finally, the group's November 6th Wollongong date will feature a line-up complemented by Totally Unicorn and Ashpit.

TISM had previously promised “radically different” setlists across the tour, after which they backtracked by saying that the font used on printed setlists would be the only thing that’s different.

Now, they’ve begrudgingly allowed their management to share “what will happen at the shows,” if not in any detail.

TSIM’s upcoming No Mistakes tour will reportedly feature two very different shows, which means different songs and different costumes, with “a few real gems” dusted off from their expansive catalogue, some of which “many fans won’t have heard live, with some of the songs having not been performed for 40 years.”

Speaking to The Music recently, vocalists Humphrey and Ron expounded on what a “radically different” setlist might look like for the band.

"I think the radical difference is in the levels of the white blood cells that signify prostate cancer," Humphrey explains. "Each night, our levels will be higher and higher, and that will cause a radically different sound to songs.

"I mean, we're planning to play the same song 20 times. But the audience being, of course, aficionados of TISM, the sort of people who know better than anyone else what TISM wants – and that's, you know, come along and boo us – those people will understand that it's not the same song 20 times.

"Rather, it's performed by a gentleman whose prostate cancer percentage has radically changed."
