Foo Fighters have officially announced they will release new album, Medicine At Midnight, in 2021.

The US legends' tenth studio record is set for release on 5 February and the band performed the first single from the album, Shame Shame, during Saturday Night Live this past weekend.

Check out the full performance below.

Medicine At Midnight is Foo Fighters' first album since 2017's Concrete & Gold - which was the sixth-straight record from the band to debut at # 1 on the ARIA chart - and again sees them team with producer Greg Kurstin.

In late 2019, drummer Taylor Hawkins hinted that Foo Fighters were planning something big to coincide with their 25th anniversary on The Green Room with Neil Griffiths podcast.

"I can't really divulge too much 'cause I don't really know too much, 'cause they don't really tell me that much. I've got the biggest mouth in the band!" Hawkins said.

"I know we're gonna be busy. You'll be seeing us."
