Flaming Heart Records and Spangled Drongo Brewery have teamed up yet again to bring to you the soul of the North East Coast’s music scene via the 2025 edition of Flaming Heart Fest.

Held in NSW’s Northern Rivers, the festival is set to be jam packed with works from local creatives, an abundance of delicious craft beer, Asian-fusion cuisine and some of the most electrifying, emerging bands coming out of the state’s North coast.

Describing itself as a “near annual music festival” Flaming Heart Fest took a break in 2024, but shined bright the two years prior, spotlighting major acts like Silicon Estate, Leaving Jordan, PJ Sheek, Mudwagon and many more. Returning in 2025, the festival has come clutch with an exuberant lineup of artists from as far north as Brisbane to as local as Kingscliff.

Bringing Flaming Heart Fest back in style is Meanjin indie-pop sweethearts Mid Drift, who are on the cusp of releasing their debut EP Lemon, LIme & Tanlines this year. Joining them are Northern Rivers five-piece Thirst Trap, who are best known for their genre-blurring sound that traverses elements of hip-hop, heavy rock and reggae. Also on the lineup is Byron Bay rockers Off Judy, who too are preparing to release their debut album, featuring their latest sweaty, pub rock banger Scared Of The Dog. Raw psychedelia is being brought by Meanjin four-piece Mr Finn, with Eyesite serving up nostalgic, angsty grunge-indie rock straight from the dynamic rock scene of the North Coast. Finally, the Gold Coast’s Brave Daisy will bring sultry jangle rock to the stages of Flaming Heart Fest.

If the obviously stacked lineup weren't enough to get you by, the festival will also be hosting pop-up stalls featuring vintage-inspired fashion brand Old Flame Label and Tweed Heads record store Badlands Vinyl. Tweed Heads arts collective PUPA will also be running an art market and live painting exhibition.

Tickets for Flaming Heart Fest are live now, with early bird tickets available here now.
