Cut Copy ProfileMelbourne-bred electro-rockers Cut Copy will undertake a headline DJ set at next weekend's OutsideIn Festival after one of the event's existing drawcards.
The news comes in the wake of the withdrawal from the festival — and planned Australian tour — of Sweden-based act HNNY due to self-described burn-out.
"Sweden's HNNY has unfortunately had to pull out of his Australian tour," festival organisers said in a statement. "Whilst this is disappointing for us and his fans, we have some MASSIVE news to share by way of his replacement — almost two years since their last DJ performance in Sydney, one of Australia's most revered electronic acts, Cut Copy, return to headline the courtyard stage with a DJ set at this year's festival.
"Timed to coincide with the release of the band's Oceans Apart mix compilation, we couldn't have hoped for a better replacement."
