Chappell Roan revealed on the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) red carpet yesterday that she was HOT TO GO - to Australia.
Speaking to Australian media personality Smallzy (Kent Small), Roan responded to compliments of Australia’s love for her.
“I know Australia loves me! I love Australia!” she said, her hands clasped excitedly.
When asked if there were any plans in the diary for another tour down under, the Pink Pony Club singer admitted, “I’m gonna come! I’m coming! We’re planning!”
Chappell Roan (real name Kayleigh Rose Amstutz) graced Australia in 2023 to tour her The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess debut album, wowing O.G. fans before the skyrocketing success of 2024 single Good Luck, Babe! Roan’s 2024 single would go on to peak at #4 on the ARIA charts, cementing her as a well-loved act down under.
Finishing off the Aus tour in late November 2023, Roan signed off, “Australia - mates, you served cvnt like no other. Thank u for the chookas. Cheers.”

Roan, who ran into the comforting company of Australia’s TV personality Smallzy, was wandering the carpet, clearly still startled by her tiff with the paparazzi. Videos revealed that photographers were yelling at Roan while trying to take her photo, leading the singer to react with a swift and unexpected “Shut the f**k up.”
It’s one of several instances where Roan has been seen fighting the unlimited access crowds believe they are “owed” by a celebrity, marking out a series of boundaries with how the rapidly rising star hopes to be treated.
When asked by Smallzy how her night was going, Roan admitted:
“I feel like people yelling at me makes me upset, so I’m freaked out by the paparazzi people. I think they should stop. I don’t think they should be able to yell at you,” she said.
“But I am trying to soak it in, and this is awesome.”
