Damien Lovelock, frontman for Australian rock outfit The Celibate Rifles and beloved broadcaster, has passed away aged 65.
As ABC reports, Lovelock passed away at his Sydney home following a battle with cancer, with friends, family and fans paying tribute.
Lovelock joined The Celibate Rifles in 1980, shortly after their formation, and featured across their many albums while also releasing two solo records.
On top of his prolific music career, he was also a broadcaster and legend within Australian sport, working for SBS, ABC and more.
