Swedish death metal titans At The Gates are to make their first ever Australian visit later this year in one of the rare tours since their reformation.

Established as a shaping force of Sweden's metal scene in the mid 90s before breaking up, the band reformed officially in 2010 and have been semi-active since. The rare run of shows will be their first in Australia and given the band are not working on new material they will be playing a number of tracks from their career. Including their 1995 staple, Slaughter Of The Soul.

Tickets go on sale Thursday 26 July.
