Australian artists appear on two huge video game soundtracks alongside the likes of Turnstile, Denzel Curry, Suki Waterhouse, and heaps more.
This week has seen both the NHL 26 and Skate reboot video games unveil the soundtracks for their upcoming releases.
Players will get to experience 34 songs on the NHL 26 soundtrack, including Ecca Vandal’s BLEED BUT NEVER DIE, Adelaide punks TOWNS with TANTRUM, and Melbourne up-and-coming artist REDD.’s Bad Days, who share the tracklisting with Disturbed, Spiritbox, New Found Glory, Turnstile, Wet Leg, and many more.

REDD. also features on the massive Skate soundtrack, but with a different song: JEANS SO BAGGY. With the first wave of songs confirmed – a whopping 95 songs announced – fellow Aussies who appear on the soundtrack include Teen Jesus And The Jean Teasers with AHHHH!, CIVIC’s New Vietnam, The Grogans’ Cissy Strut, Amyl And The Sniffers’ Facts, If Our Love Is Dead by Royel Otis, and Skegss’ Out Of My Head.
The aforementioned Aussie artists appear on the video game soundtrack alongside Earth, Wind & Fire, Turnstile, Little Simz, Magdalena Bay, and stacks of others.
An early access edition of Skate – free to play – is set to land on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on Tuesday, 16 September. Meanwhile, fans who have pre-ordered the digital deluxe edition of NHL 26 can play the early access game as of yesterday.
