Accor Stadium Is NOT Releasing Extra Taylor Swift Tickets

After Taylor Swift fans spotted Category A tickets on the Accor Stadium website – for users holding 12,000 points or more – there was a little glimmer of hope to score tickets to her highly anticipated Eras tour.

However, that was a big mistake, as no tickets are being sold through the Accor Live Limitless program.

“Frontier Touring wish to advise that stories in the media today that Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour tickets will be available through the ACCOR Live Limitless program are incorrect,” a spokesperson for Frontier Touring said in a statement.

“ACCOR is not approved for this activity and have confirmed they will be removing this offer immediately. We remind fans that the only safe – and approved - avenue to secure tickets is through the official ticketing agency for the tour, Ticketek.”

A representative for Accor added in a statement to 9 Honey yesterday (7 September), “We [Accor Stadium] have not announced any new tickets, nor do we know of any new tickets being released.”

Swift will perform three nights at Melbourne’s MCG and four shows at Sydney’s Accor Stadium and is poised to break records at both venues.

The Melbourne show on 18 February will mean that Swift is the first artist since Madonna in 1993 to achieve three (presumably sold out) nights at the 100,000-capacity stadium. In Sydney, on 26 February, the fourth show at the 83,000-capacity venue will be the first time an artist has performed four nights running. 

Last month, Swift announced the release date for 1989 (Taylor’s Version), which arrives on Friday, 27 October. We’ve already heard two singles from 1989 (Taylor’s Version): the re-done version of This Love arrived last May and was followed up with Swift’s new take on Wildest Dreams in September of 2021. 

The Taylor’s Version project exists for Swift to reclaim the rights to her discography after the masters for her first six albums were sold to Shamrock Holdings in November 2020.

Swift has already re-recorded Speak Now, Fearless and Red, and only has Reputation, 1989 and her self-titled debut to go.
