Melbourne heavy hardcore, Samsara have uploaded two brand new tracks off their forthcoming album, 'Instinct Over Influence'.  The two tracks, 'Steel Trap' and 'Wayfarer' feature on the full length that is due out July 9th via Trial and Error Records.   Be sure to check out Samsara in the flesh on their nation-wide tour beginning July 30.   The tracks can be streamed here.

Sacramento's thrash/punk outfit, Trash Talk have been the latest band confirmed for Soundwave's 2011 bill.  The four-piece are the fourth band confirmed after Protest The Hero, The Ataris and The Blackout were recently announced all by Short Fast Loud.  Trash Talk are currently preparing for several dates across California before returning to Europe where they will take part in the annual Ieperfest.   http://www.soundwavefestival.com

Swedish Death Metal legends The Crown have signed a worldwide deal with Century Media Records. Los Angeles, Californian based hardcore band Terror have posted a new song onto their myspace page. The song "Stick Tight" is taken from the band's forthcoming album "Keepers Of The Faith", which will be released on August 30, 2010 by Century Media Records.

Underoath have posted their fourth video update from the studio where the band is currently recording their seventh studio album with producers Matt Goldman (Lost In The Sound Of Separation and Define The Great Line) and Jeremy SH Griffith. The new album will be the band's first album with new drummer Daniel Davison (ex-Norma Jean), who replaced the band's former long-time drummer and vocalist Aaron Gillespie.

Matthew Leone, bassist for American rock act Madina Lake is in a critical condition, having had a third of his skull removed in hospital after a recent assault.
