Bridge Nine’s newest roster addition, Lemuria, are currently in the studio recording their yet-to-be-titled debut for the label! The band is holed up at the Magpie Cage in Baltimore, MD for the next few weeks with producer J Robbins (known for his work with bands like Jawbreaker, Hey Mercedes and the Promise Ring). Lemuria drummer Alex Kerns said, “Right when we started writing this album, we knew we wanted to record with J. His catalog and style best compliments the new songs we’re working on.”

According to a recent interview with Weezer front man Rivers Cuomo, the band will be releasing their new, currently untitled album on September 13, 2010.Cuomo discussed the album's title and sound:"I've spent the entire morning trying to come up with a name for the record, how does `Heavy Mental' sound? There's definitely going to be more raw rock energy on this one."It is also stated in the interview that Weezer have left their longtime label Geffen Records and will be releasing the new album through an indie label.Weezer released their newest album "Raditude" in October 2009.

Celebrated Bay Area punk legend Matt Freeman of Rancid and Operation Ivy fame will release the long awaited, self-titled debut album for his side project Devils Brigade on August 27 via Hellcat Records. The bass player has assimilated a touring band to join him this fall when they hit the road with labelmates Street Dogs on a US tour. Devils Brigade was conceived in 2000, when bassist Matt Freeman began writing songs with Tim Armstrong between Rancid tours. This led to a few EPs and some songs on Hellcat’s Give Em The Bootcompilation, but the project was put on the back burner when Rancid began touring and recording again. After debuting their new album "Youngbloods" at #6 on the ARIA Charts and selling out the majority of their capital cities run earlier this month, The Amity Affliction have put together a regional run in August / September to appease the thousands of fans who are dying for more from the Brisbane six-piece. As their first tour for 2010, the recently completed "Youngbloods" trek was a massive success. With sold out rooms anywhere from 900 to 2200 capacity, the response was nothing short of pandemonium. The tour came just two weeks after their sophomore album "Youngbloods" debuted at #6 on the ARIA Charts. "Anchors" is the Triple J rotated single taken from the album, and one of the band's most popular tracks to date. The Anchors Tour will take in regional and suburban dates along the East Coast, and will be the final tour for 2010 as the band prepares to launch their UK and US campaigns at then of the year.

Paramore have announced that they will be releasing a tour EP on the band's upcoming Honda Civic Tour, beginning on July 23.The EP features Paramore and Tegan and Sara both contributing two songs, while New Found Glory and Kadawatha share one each.The EP is limited to only 3,000 copies available at Hot Topic and in the Paramore webstore, and will be released on August 10th. It will also be available through iTunes starting July 20th.Paramore will be returning to Australia in October for a headlining tour.
