Weezer's new album 'Hurley' is now streaming on MySpace.

Friday 17th September - Bendigo Hotel, Collingwood. Six of Australia’s rowdiest punk bands form a united front in the fight against cancer. No Credit, Subject To Change, Doomsday Saints, Public Liability, Flangipanis (QLD) and the Murderballs take over the Johnston St venue from 8pm. Entry is $10 – all door proceeds plus 5% of bar takings go directly to Challenge, supporting kids with cancer (www.challenge.org.au).

Illusive and The Frontier Touring Company are very excited to announce the birth of Another World – the southern hemisphere’s biggest ever under 18s festival. The event will see more than 30 acts invade Melbourne Park’s Hisense Arena on Cup Eve (Monday 1st November). The line-up features the cream of contemporary Australian music over 5 stages, featuring a never-ending roll call of the country’s most electrifying live acts. Topping the bill are hip-hop icons Bliss N Eso in their only under 18s performance of 2010, local hard rock kings The Getaway Plan, electro-pop hit makers The Potbelleez, hardcore giants The Amity Affliction and the biggest household name in Australian house – Grant Smillie. Joining them are fiery songstress Paris Wells, electro wunderkinds The Aston Shuffle, the one who speaks no Americano – DCUP, hardcore monsters The Red Shore and Behind Crimson Eyes, hip-hop genre benders Diafrix, the man behind Australia’s festival anthem - Pez, Sydney’s infamous Bang Gang D...

Florida based powerpop band We The Kings are the latest band to be confirmed for the Soundwave 2011 Festival line up. The band was confirmed earlier today via the official Soundwave twitter, "Rumours started circulating yesterday that @wethekings had been confirmed for @soundwavefest 2011. We can now confirm that this is FACT!".

Sydney's Heroes For Hire have released a video for their new single "Come Away With Me." 

Massachusetts based metal act All That Remains have uploaded a new track onto their myspace page. The song "Hold On" is taken from the band's upcoming fifth studio album, "For We Are Many", which will be released on October 12 through  Prosthetic Records.

Rise Records metalcore act Miss May I have uploaded their brand new video for the song "Relentless Chaos". "Relentess Chaos" is taken from the band's second studio album,  "Monuments", which was released in August by Rise Records.

According to a blog posted on Dance Gavin Dance's Myspace page earlier today, the former singer has rejoined the band to record their upcoming album Downtown Battle Mountain 2. 

This is a comeback alright!
