Another Sydney hardcore band proving they have what it takes to keep up with the big boys of the scene.

 Skrillex has teamed up with members of the Doors to release a new track for a new project called RE:GENERATION. The track is called "Breakn' A Sweat". You can check it out below. RE:GENERATION is a documentary film that follows DJ Premier, Pretty Lights, The Crystal Method, Mark Ronson, and Skrillex as they remix, recreate and re-imagine five traditional styles of music. Cartel has just announced that they have unfortunately had to cancel the bands Australian tour. A statement from the band reads: "Hey everybody, Bad news is never easy to put into simple phrases; but, unfortunately, I must do my best. It is with a heavy heart that we must relay the news that we are forced to cancel our Australian 'In Stereo' tour. The promoter we were going through completely screwed everything up and there's no way to rectify the mistakes that were made in time to make it happen. We had been trying to finalize flights/permits/backline (all of which the promoter was to handle) for over 2 months and only heard from him intermittently (and never with any real information), until recently when we didn't hear at all. We apologize for all the headaches and bum outs that this will cause and we're frantically looking for ways to make it up to all our friends in Australia. Metalcore band Hell Within have announced plans to break up after one final show next month. The group have released albums with both Lifeforce Records and Thorp Records.

For Today have announced that they have finished writing material for their forthcoming album and Razor & Tie debut. The band will enter the studio in January to begin tracking, with a spring 2012 release tentatively planned.

K Será, the side project of March Ahead's Michael Caswell have announced a new EP to be released on November 1st. The EP will be titled 'The Cantos: ii,' and will be released through Burning House Records.

Madina Lake has unveiled the video for "Imagineer" off their latest album World War III. Speaking to Rock Sound magazine, singer Nathan Leone revealed the song was gifted to the band by an unlikely source. "We got to sit with Billy Corgan while he meticulously mulled over ideas for Smashing Pumpkin's new record Oceania and this riff kept jumping out at us. By the third day he just said here take it. Still in shock, we brought it back to Madina and wrote Imagineer over it in about an hour!" Watch the video here.

Long Island, New York rock band The Republic of Wolves will release a two disc set called In The House of Dust on December 1. The first disc contains 20 tracks of re-mastered B-sides, Demos and Alternate/Acoustic versions, as well as featuring several never-before-heard tracks. The second disc features a DVD featuring an eight song live acoustic set, as well as bonus content such as music videos and acoustic sessions. You can now pre-order the collection here.
