Shinto Katana sign with Skull And Bones Records
We are very pleased to announce that Sydney's Shinto Katana have joined our family! Having formed midway through the last decade, they have spent their time honing their craft, doing the hard yards and winning over audience’s one show at a time. From humble beginnings in the west Sydney metalcore scene to being the one of the most promising Australian heavy bands in recent years, Shinto Katana have shared stages on tours with bands like Emmure, Shai Hulud, The Red Shore and Deez Nuts and supporting the likes of August Burns Red, Darkest Hour and Bleeding Through. Having released two full length albums, 2008’s much loved “Cold Streets” and 2010’s more metallic sophomore release “We Can’t Be Saved”, Shinto Katana returned to the studio and recorded what they describe as combining the best elements of all they have written before. Yellowcard announce Australian tour
Yellowcard will return to Australia to play three special springtime shows in September. The band will hit Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney and treat fans to hits such as "Ocean Avenue", "Only One", "Hang You Up", "Lights and Sounds" and "Sing For Me". In March 2011 the band released their first album for Hopeless Records, "When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes", and are now preparing for the Summer 2012 release of their next, as yet unnamed, eighth studio album to be released in Australia. Since the release of "When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes" several successful worldwide tours have proven that the band are really back for their fans and more entertaining and engaging than ever. Rosetta announce Australian tour
Philadelphian post-metal entity Rosetta is set to return to Australia this July/August for no less than 15 dates. Having captivated Australian audiences with an overwhelmingly powerful live show as a relatively unknown band making their first international voyage back in 2008, the four-piece went on to release their critically acclaimed third album ‘A Determinism of Morality’ in 2010. In the years since they’ve been a part of various split releases with Year of No Light, East of The Wall, Restorations, and Junius, as well as having undertaken multiple European tours and performed with acts as mighty as Neurosis, Hopesfall and Old Man Gloom.
