Maine progressive metallers Last Chance to Reason are set to enter Florida's Audiohammer Studios this week to record their third album.

In less than a month Michigan blue-collar punks The Swellers make their much-anticipated return to Australian shores. Sydney’s Endless Heights are on board for the full run of dates, while a motley troupe of local supports join them for each show. The full bills are detailed below. Due to popular demand an additional show has been added the run. The Swellers will now also hit Lilydale Showgrounds, Lilydale for an afternoon All Ages show on Sunday 14 October, with Heroes For Hire, Skyway, Monuments, The Playbook, Outlines and These City Lights. Please note Endless Heights will not be playing this additional show.

Respected local pop punk outfit Skyway have announced their intentions to go on hiatus. The band offered the official update on their Facebook page today.

Up-and-coming pop punk band State Champs are planning to release their debut album in 2013. The news was dropped in an interview with The Alternative.

Easycore five-piece City Lights have entered the studio to record an acoustic EP. The EP will follow on from their debut album, 'In It To Win It', out now through InVogue Records.

Walnut Creek pop punkers The Story So Far are streaming a live performance of 'Four Years'. The footage was shot at Riot Fest, held in Chicago on September 15th.

Popular US screamo outfit The Used have premiered their new music video online for song ‘Put Me Out’. The track is lifted from current studio release ‘Vulnerable’, which hit stores earlier this year.

German metallers War From A Harlots Mouth have debuted a new track, with the song to feature on the group’s upcoming full-length ‘Voyeur’.

Australian heavy-hitters Make Them Suffer will hit the road this November/December for a national tour with Chicago deathcore outfit Oceano, touring Australia for the first time. It wasn’t too long ago that Perth’s Make Them Suffer released their debut album Neverbloom on Roadrunner Records to rave reviews. Now they are set to take it on the road for an armful of shows to showcase tracks from the album and their previously released EP Lord of Woe. Killyourstereo.com said Neverbloom is ‘bold and ambitious’ and it is ‘dense in sound and solid in structure’.

My Chemical Romance have announced pre-orders for their new release 'Conventional Weapons,' ten previously unreleased tracks that were recorded right before the band wrote 'Danger Days.'
