The Kid LAROI has kickstarted The LAROI Foundation, an organisation with the goal to “inspire, engage and positively impact children everywhere.”
The STAY hitmaker has long supported local communities, donating $100,000 to a youth centre in the Redfern area in 2022 ahead of his Australian tour dates.
Last month, teaming up with youth mental health service Headspace, the LAROI Foundation quietly launched a campaign inviting young people to design merchandise for the singer and rapper. The designs raised funds for art and music community projects around Australia.
Over the weekend, The Kid LAROI officially launched The LAROI Foundation with an Instagram post that led to a new website link.
Sharing the Instagram post to his Instagram Stories, The Kid LAROI said of the charity: “been working for a while on this with some incredible people. So extremely proud & excited to finally start putting this all in motion!”
