Ticketek Entertainment Group (TEG) have a new Managing Director of Ticketing, with longtime staffer Amy Mackie being appointed to the role.
News of Mackie’s new role was announced today, with a statement from the company outlining that she will oversee ticketing strategy and operations across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and the UK, while working closely with the General Managers for ticketing and memberships in each region.
“I am delighted to announce Amy’s appointment to lead TEG’s ticketing division,” said TEG CEO Cameron Hoy. “Amy brings significant depth to the role with over 17 years' experience in our business spanning product, technology, marketing and operations.
“Amy is a highly capable, dedicated and passionate executive, and I am incredibly proud to be making this very well-deserved appointment.”
As Hoy indicates, Mackie has spent many years with the company, having joined the team in 2009, working in roles including Marketing Manager, Head of Sales & Marketing, and Head Of Marketing for over six years.
After time spent as General Manager of Ticketek UK, Mackie took on the role of Managing Director, Ticketing Solutions earlier this year.
“I'm excited to be leading such an established and talented team across our markets,” Mackie herself said. “My focus is on supporting them to continue delivering the high standards we're known for, while maintaining our emphasis on the critical link between technology, product and operations.
“We have the capability, the teams and the momentum to continue serving our clients with excellence and to pursue new opportunities.”

Mackie’s appointment is the latest in a string of moves at TEG, including the departure of Simon Cahill in February, and the appointment of Hoy as the company’s CEO just last month, following Brad Banducci’s exit.
“TEG exists to partner with the world’s best Venues, Promoters and Rights-holders to connect fans to the moments that matter most, and I am honoured to lead such an entrepreneurial business and team,” Hoy said.
