Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Troye Sivan are among the Aussie artists nominated for Grammy Awards next year.

The series is inclusive of all aspects of the music industry, from song and grant writing seminars and a networking roundtable event.

“If we don’t make that change, it’s just not going to survive,” new co-owner Michael Benson said of the venue’s future.

Established in 2023 and named for Australian industry legend, Justin Cosby, who passed away in 2021, the award recognises both the Best Performance and Best Emerging Artist at SXSW Sydney.

"To go from writing songs about watching the ABC as a kid, to signing on to be an ABC artist is pretty f*cking surreal,” Playlunch said of the news.

“I love writing songs and collaborating with the best Australian artists to help their unique voices be heard on a global scale," Burnett says of the signing.

Believe have been accused of facilitating copyright infringement, allowing countless users to upload tracks by artists such as "Kendrik Laamar" or "Llady Gaga" to streaming platforms.

Applications for the 2025 workshop are open until Tuesday, 12 November.
