Fresh off the back of last year’s The Art Of Everything album, singular Naarm/Melbourne outfit DREGG have today announced their signing to the storied Fearless Records roster.
Having been on the scene for a decade now, DREGG have managed to make a name for themselves for their loud, aggressive, and wholly unique sound. Fusing metal, hardcore, and rap, all while utilising a sense of theatrical flair and absurdist humor, their sound and style have managed to transcend borders, clearly resonating with the team at Fearless.
“We're super psyched about joining Fearless and giving new life to The Art Of Everything,” the group said in a statement. “It's a dream come true to be alongside some of the biggest heavy hitters in the game and we can't wait to keep writing and releasing more music.”
Though they’ve not yet dropped any new music, they have however complemented news of the signing with the release of a new video for 2024’s Dress Down. Directed by Melbourne-based Joel Wilson, the band explains that Wilson took their “vision to a whole new level.”
“We spent four days filming and we couldn't be happier with the result,” they explain. “It's definitely our most cinematic endeavor to date.
“We've always believed in the power of personal interpretation,” they add. "We want each listener to find their own meaning in our music. But if we're talking about what drove Dress Down, it was frustration, betrayal, and a relentless desire to reinvent ourselves.

“We were determined to break new ground sonically, something fresh that speaks to who we are as artists right now.”
DREGG’s signing to Fearless makes quite a bit of sense, given the California-based label’s long history of working with unique bands and taking calculated risks. Records by bands such as the Plain White T’s, At The Drive-In, Mayday Parade, and Ice Nine Kills pepper the discography, as do the highly-influential Punk Goes… series, which captured the attention of music fans throughout the ‘00s.
The Aussie group are reportedly gearing up to announce some live dates in the near future, with fans urged to keep an eye out.
