To celebrate 50 years of triple j, we’re cranking the speakers and throwing open the gates for the Hottest 100 of Australian Songs – a once-in-a-generation countdown celebrating the tracks that defined us.
Rosemount Hotel has been your Hottest 100 MECCA for over two decades, and this milestone year is no exception. From 11am through to around 6pm, we’re locked onto triple j, soaking up the songs that shaped the nation – from timeless anthems to new Aussie classics – all voted by you.
Food & Drink Specials (’til 5pm):– $30 Burger (beef, tofu or chicken) & Pint of IOBC Pale– $16 Jugs of IOBC Pale– $8 Pints of IOBC Pale– $9 Sires Gin or Vodka w/ mixer(PS: We might just rename the cocktails after iconic Aussie bands – stay tuned!)
Activations:– Guess the Top 10 whiteboard game – make a $2 donation and go in the draw to win!
After the final track, we’ll keep the celebration going with local independent radio legends RTRFM, taking over the yard with their finest selectors on deck. Expect good vibes, deep cuts, and dancefloor favourites curated by Perth’s most passionate music connoisseurs.
This is one for the history books – come raise a glass to the soundtrack of Australia.
