One of the UK’s most enduring pop outfits, Saint Etienne, is returning to Australia and New Zealand in November and December, where they’ll be saying farewell to their devoted fans in the region.

The tour announcement arrives following last year’s news that their 2025 album, International, would mark their final studio release. Now, the band will take their celebrated catalogue on a seven-date farewell tour in Australia and New Zealand.

The tour begins at Auckland’s Powerstation on Friday, 20 November, followed by Wellington’s Meow Nui on Saturday, 21 November.

From there, the band heads to Australia, performing at Adelaide’s The Gov on Monday, 23 November, Melbourne’s Forum on Thursday, 26 November, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Friday, 27 November, Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Sunday, 29 November, and concludes at Freo.Social on Tuesday, 1 December.

Pre-sale tickets will be available on Wednesday, 3 June, at 9 am local time – register here for access – ahead of the general sale on Friday, 5 June, at 9 am local time. You can find more ticketing information on the Destroy All Lines website.

Released last September, International was met with ecstatic acclaim, taking Saint Etienne to the UK Top 10 and solidifying their reputation as one of Britain’s most treasured musical acts.

The group’s career spans more than three decades, with their songbook featuring classics such as Only Love Can Break Your Heart, Spring, Nothing Can Stop Us, and many others. Founded by Croydon natives Bob Stanley and Pete Wiggs in 1990, their debut single – a cover of Neil Young’s Only Love Can Break Your Heart – immediately became a club anthem.

In 1991, the group welcomed vocalist Sarah Cracknell, completing their line-up. She made her debut on the single Nothing Can Stop Us and the Mercury Prize-nominated album, Foxbase Alpha.

Saint Etienne became the first band ever to be broadcast live from Glastonbury, marking just one moment in decades of innovation and reinvention. Their final tour of Australia and New Zealand is guaranteed to be an unmissable event.
