RTRFM’s IN THE PINES RETURNS FOR ITS 33rd YEAR IN 2026. RTRFM’s iconic local music fest In the Pines will take place for an incredible 33rd time in the iconic surrounds of UWA’s Somerville Auditorium on Sunday 19 April. This year sees 20 of WA’s best artists across two stages. The line-up will be released to you on Breakfast With Pam, Wednesday 11 March.
In The Pines is WA’s original boutique music festival, and is renowned for having been a platform for many of the iconic bands who have made a mark in WA over the past three decades. With lineup slots highly coveted by up-and-coming artists, Pines is the ultimate snapshot of WA music, year in and year out, showcasing the best in established and emerging local acts.
In 2026 we will also continue to offer our sensory space collaboration with Enable WA and supported by The University of Western Australia; a space for neurodivergent punters and those who need a break from the noise to chill out.
This year UWA has joined The City of Perth as In The Pines major sponsor, making the event possible and giving local bands the chance to showcase their music..
