In the late ’90s and early 2000s, Skeltys’ solo work took a more freeform turn, experimenting with an eccentric mixture of deep analogue bleeps, hillbilly house, fizzy disco and arthouse movie samples. This sound shaped two mash-up albums Electro-Lollipop-Explosion and Libraries Are Fun and Stoner Classix Vol. 1–3 vinyl series, with tracks recently reissued by European labels Tonal Oceans (Netherlands) and Turned Tapes (UK).
