ANNIE & THE CALDWELLS are a family from West Point, Mississippi who play a powerful disco soul, led by Annie Caldwell (who sings) and her husband of the last fifty years Willie Joe Caldwell, Sr. (who plays guitar). Annie is backed by daughters Deborah Caldwell Moore, Anjessica Caldwell and goddaughter Toni Rivers; their eldest son Willie Jr. is on the bass and youngest son Abel Aquirius is on the drums. Since the release of Can’t Lose My (Soul) [Luaka Bop, Spring 2025] — which was hailed as “a masterpiece” by The Guardian (?????) — the family has performed in more than twenty countries on four continents, and recently made a star turn on the UK's preeminent music program Later... with Jools Holland.Doors 7pm, Show 8pm.
