After performing with local orchestras at London’s Royal Albert Hall, New York’s Carnegie Hall, and the Hollywood Bowl, Beck is bringing his unique orchestral shows to Australia for the first time this May.

Taking over stages in Sydney and Melbourne – three shows at the Sydney Opera House and two at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre – Beck will reimagine his expansive body of work, including deep cuts from albums such as Odelay, Mutations, Sea Change, and Morning Phase. Fans can expect classics as well as surprises.

Beck and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra will perform at the Sydney Opera House from Thursday, 7 May, to Saturday, 9 May. He’ll then be joined by Philharmonia Australia at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Tuesday, 12 May, and Wednesday, 13 May.

Sydney Opera House Insiders members can access pre-sale tickets on Tuesday, 3 March, at 11 am AEDT – find out more about Insiders here. The SOH What’s On e-newsletter pre-sale follows on Wednesday, 4 March, at 11 am AEDT.

The general sale opens on Thursday, 5 March, at 10 am AEDT – head to the Sydney Opera House website for more details.

Meanwhile, Frontier Members can access pre-sale tickets for Beck’s Melbourne shows now. The general sale opens on Thursday, 5 March, at 11 am AEDT via the Frontier Touring website.

Beck last performed for Australian fans in 2023, co-headlining both Bluesfest and Harvest Rock festivals, plus playing solo headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney.

Reviewing his performance at Harvest Rock, The Music’s Michael Prebeg wrote, “Beck showcases his extensive discography and musical styles with a slick performance and an incredible energy to bring Harvest Rock festival to a close on the ultimate high.

Loser conjures a huge audience singalong, and a three-song encore ensures he keeps the party going right to the curfew in order to keep his fans happy with an impressive 20-song-long set to solidify his headliner status.”
