The gossip-chasing, slander-creating journo-hack behind the weekly SPA Confidential column has today announced that he has quit the role to pursue a singing career.
SPA Confidential will be heading to next week's BIGSOUND conference and showcase to impress label heads, hot-shot managers and the nation's music media in a few days
With as “the voice of Paris Hilton” and “the looks of Meat Loaf”, SPA Confidential said that they will be “hovering around the bars in Brisbane to steal the drinks of big industry players when they're not looking. It's a great conversation starter and a way to keep your night economical.”
Playing a number of sets, the exact details are yet to be confirmed.
“I'll probably just hang around the gigs of artists that people really want to see like Velociraptor, Emma Louise and Heroes For Hire, rush the stage in-between their songs and improvise on the mic. I'll lay down some sick beat box shit and then air guitar. It'll get people's attention and build a good rapport with the fans, I think.”

“I'm really hoping that scouts from The Voice or Farmer Wants A Wife will come to my showcase,” he said. “I'm not fussy, I think either would be an equally great opportunity for my music career.”
