How long have you been together? Sally: Tricky question! Somewhere from two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half years, depending on who you ask.

How did you all meet? Erica: India!
SC: We went to school together, but were a year apart so never really met.
EM: A few years later we went travelling with mutual friends, and that was the catalyst for Coda.

You're on tour in the van — which band or artist is going to keep the most people happy if we throw them on the stereo? EM: The Cat Empire. Or Sticky Fingers.
SC: Savage Garden.
EM: Not Savage Garden.
SC: Definitely Savage Garden.

What part do you think Sydney plays in the music you make? SC: Seeing live music — watching gigs is always the biggest inspiration to make our own music.
EM: We're Canberra kids at heart, which means that having 50 venues within walking distance of your house is like Christmas every day.

Is your band responsible for more make-outs or break-ups? Why? SC: We're actually all about the break-outs.
EM: Yeah, people always get blocked pores at our shows.
SC: All the sweating, you know?
EM: Wash your face after gigs! Exfoliate and moisturise.

What reality TV show would you enter as a band and why? SC: We would SMASH Iron Chef.
EM: As long as the theme ingredient was Mi Goreng.

What's in the pipeline for the band in the short term? EM: We're about to tour with our recent single, Paint It Gold
SC: Sydney first — sponsored by Young Henrys!
EM: And we miiiight be doing a Rick Springfield cover, so I don't know what more you can ask for.
