More Mac Miller More Mac Miller

"It's both a beautiful and devastating reminder of Miller's immense talent." - Jessica Dale

When Mac Miller passed away unexpectedly in 2018, at just 26, fans across the world felt a collective heartbreak.

"It’s surreal when you experience the loss of someone you’ve never met," said The Music's pRhymetime column at the time. "The impact is unexpectedly forceful."

It was a sentiment that was felt once again with the release of Miller's posthumous Circles in January this year. The crushing Good News, a look at the stigma surrounding mental health ("Good news, good news, good news / That's all they wanna hear / No, they don't like it when I'm down / But when I'm flying, oh, it make 'em so uncomfortable / So different, what's the difference?"), the jaunty Blue World and the dreamy Hand Me Downs (featuring Australia's Baro) are just some of the album's highlights.

It's both a beautiful and devastating reminder of Miller's immense talent.
