How did you get together? We met in the emergency room at a hospital in late 19th century New York. Half were patients suffering from various venereal diseases, the other half were doctors using experimental treatments. They worked.

If you could support any band in the world — past or present — who would it be? The Pogues. Even better if they were to support us.
You're being sent into space, no iPod, you can bring one album — what would it be? So there's no iPod but there's a turntable? Weird spaceship. Would zero gravity affect the spin? We would take something by the Beatles. Or Rick Astley.
Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date? The greatest rock'n'roll moments happen onstage. This would be a tie between being showered in beer and thongs at Festival of the Sun, and the time a guy played his penis onstage like a guitar at Woodford.
Why should people come and see your band? We like nothing more than having a good time, no pretence, you will dance and enjoy yourself or be damned.
When and where for your next gig? New Globe Theatre, Saturday 20 December. It's our Christmas party!
