The show was met with phenomenal demand, with tickets snapped up almost immediately in pre-sales and the general sale.
The Saving Up hitmaker made his stadium debut at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium last December, which broke records for an Australian electronic artist. Now, with another stadium show sold out, the Australian electronic music scene has nowhere to go but up.
Reflecting on the magnitude of the moment, Dom Dolla wrote on Instagram this week, “it feels so damn good to be home 🥲 it’s not everyday you get to play to 60k legends in your hometown… i’d like to say i’ve dreamt of this moment since i very first started in music, but the truth is i had no idea hosting a show like this was even in the realm of possible realities.
“the next few months are looking pretty mad: melbourne, new york, head trip, bay area, nashville, chicago, houston, singapore, auckland… im fired up to put on some of the best gigs of my life and play you some new music of mine. see you on the dancefloor my friends.”
