Set to go down in just over a month, St Kilda Festival today unveiled an epic line-up. Here are the artists you need to check out when the festival sets up Feb 11.
Maddy Jane
3.30pm, O’Donnell Gardens Stage
It’s been a massive 12 months for Tassie artist Maddy Jane with breakout singles No Other Way and Drown It Out getting high rotation on triple j. She also scored a string of supports around Australia with the likes of Tash Sultana, Polish Club, Kingswood and Luca Brasi and was chosen as a tour support for superstar Harry Styles.
Electric Fields
4.45pm, O’Donnell Gardens Stage
Electric Fields is a potent new act bringing together the brilliance and creativity of music producer and composer Michael Ross, with the mesmerising sensitivity of Zaachariaha Fielding - whose rare and beautiful voice has been described as 'taking soul to the stratosphere'. These two feminine brothers are creating a striking and haunting merging of living traditional culture with electronic music.
Tkay Maidza
3.45pm, Main Stage
In the past few years, rapper Tkay Maidza has risen out of the underground to emerge as one of Australia’s most electrifying artists. With her rapid-fire flow, frenetic beats, and fiercely inventive lyrics, the Zimbabwe-born artist is now set to shake up audiences worldwide.
The Jezabels
7.45pm, Main Stage

If you haven’t caught The Jezabels live before, you have seriously been missing out. Don’t miss the chance to sing along to Endless Summer as this iconic Aussie band take to the stage as the sun sets over St Kilda beach.
Emerging Talent
11am - 9pm, The New Music Stage
Too good to select must-sees from, this stage features ten emerging Aussie acts set to be the next big thing. The crowd fave will take home $5,000 cash plus an invite to play the Main Stage in 2019 (check out local act That Gold Street Sound playing the Main Stage at 12.15pm – winners of the prize in 2017). With a line-up featuring Baker Boy, Swim Season and Batz, it’s going to be one close competition for the crown.
