Corona Extra are taking the Portlandindie kings on a free tour around Aus'.. There are few things more exciting than a Portugal. The Man Australian tour, the Alaskan-bred, Portland-based indie lords who've proven time and again on Australian tours that they're one of the world's best live acts... nay acts period. But if they toured Australia for free, that too would be pretty epic. And thanks to Corona Extra, they will be rocking 25 venues across Australia this November for the grand total ticket price of $0. Portugal. The Man’s latest offering Evil Friends is a charming little slice of pop pie that trades on vocal melodies that hook hard, yet doesn’t become tasteless with repeated listens, despite the initial giddy sugar rush.

With a renewed sense of depth, dynamics and a return to the penchant for carefree cacophony found on earlier releases, Evil Friends is a godsend for Portugal fans new and old alike.

This incarnation of the band is a mix of middle-of-the-road indie (Purple Yellow Red And Blue sounding like a Jamiroquai B-side) and unforgettable pop gems.
