Buried in Verona were an Australian metalcore band from Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, formed in 2007. They have released five albums, the most recent being Vultures Above, Lions Below, released in August 2015. In August 2016, UNFD, their signed record company, announced on their Facebook page that the band was breaking up.

Buried In Verona are on their way up. The band's latest album, 'Faceless' debuted at #15 on the ARIA charts, which saw the boys capitalise with a successful national tour shortly after. Richie Newman, rhythm guitarist and singer for the band spoke with us about their upcoming spot on the Midyear Mayhem tour, being a part of the 2013 Australian Warped Tour, and the drive and ambition of achieving even bigger and better things for the band.

Vocalist Brett Anderson encouraged the audience to start a circle pit during Illuminate while a menacing-looking Sean Gynn and Richie Newman delivered stuttering, thrashing guitar lines. Capping off the show with The Damned, the band left the stage only to return from chants from the audience for an encore and slaying them with a fiery version of Four Years.
