Aussie metalcore band Buried In Verona had an impressive 2014 with the release of their fourth studio album Faceless, which also debuted in the top 20 of the Aussie charts.

After recruiting new talent earlier this year following the departure of three band members, the Sydney outfit are moving full steam ahead with the announcement of a brand new album, Vultures Above, Lions Below set to drop next month.

Produced by renowned engineers Nordström and Henrik Udd who have worked with notable acts such as Bring Me The Horizon and Architects, guitarist Richie Newman believes the upcoming record will be a special one for the group.

"This whole album is the album we have always wanted to write," Newman said.

"It's the most honest representation of who we are as people - we've been through hell and back in a lot of aspects of our lives, and this is the end result."

The first single from the forthcoming album Can't Be Unsaid has also just been released and vocalist Brett Anderson explained that the song is about letting go of negativity.

"I wrote it when I was at my lowest point as a way to get me past everything that had happened. Ever since then, I've been focusing on the positives and using music as my escape again," Anderson said.

"After years of anguish I'm so happy to have regained my passion for music...Don’t live in the negative space with negative people. Life is short, don’t waste it."
