In exchange for cupcakes, Miller-Heidke sung happy birthday to two punters, then the party really kicked off with a cameo from Sweet Jean for Devil Wears A Suit and Politics In Space.

Miller-Heidke is a truly unique talent in the alt-pop genre she totally owns.

While the set had a few rough moments, each one was soon forgotten with the advent of some new delight, and it was Miller-Heidke’s terrific and unique voice that bound it all together.

Miller-Heidke has found a healthy blend of the quirky elements of 2008’s Curiouser and more serious nature of 2012’s Nightflight.

"It’s been amazing and a new experience for me, but very rewarding."

New album will be out independently next year.
