Hermitude chat about New Years and more acts are added to NYE On The Harbour.. Hermitude are a formidable force live; with a clear effort made to actually re-create a live performance at every gig they play, which sees the energy become almost palatable in the air. And ahead of their headlining set at NYE On The Harbour we got a hold of Hermitude to spill the guts on what their most memorable New Years Eve was... "One of the most memorable NYE moments for us was Falls Festival 2013 in Lorne, Victoria. We played right after midnight on the main stage, Vampire Weekend had just torn the place to shreds and the party was in full swing. As you can imagine, we were somewhat nervous...maybe nervous as fuck explains it better. Just before we went on someone threw a flare onstage, it landed right into a tangled pile of leads and cable on the monitoring console side of stage. The second exclusive track from Future Classic's Teen Idols is great.. Following last week's announcement of the release of Future Classic's Teen Idols compilation, which came with a brand new Touch Sensitive track (info HERE), this week Hayden James has thrown his contribution to the compilation up on Soundcloud in Something About You. It's another typically smooth affair from one of the smoothest producers this country has to offer - a slow, housey jam with a silky vocal. New Year's Eve in Sydney plans - sorted.. The good folks at Falcon are once again teaming up with the party-vibing folks at Cargo to give you a pretty clear winner for New Year's Eve Sydney party plans - NYE On The Harbour. Joining the dudes you see in the photo above, Hermitdue (read our recent feature with them HERE), will be some of Falcona's finest in Crooked Colours and Hayden James, along with Yolanda Be Cool (who've just dropped a new DCUP colab in SUGAR MAN) and a yet-be-announced secret DJ (check the Falcona roster, you might be able to connect the dots).
