The up-tempo driving rock of No Fairy Tale does suggest that she still has a lot to give.

The band truly gel while tearing through the big riffs on album highlight South Paw, a song given space to breathe, showing what could have been if they had done that for all these tracks.

m b v needed to be a record we were happy to have rather than one we could have done without and it’s a welcome addition to the small My Bloody Valentine canon.

I Am Kloot may not have the popularity or sales figures of their Mancunian counterparts, but another solid showing here proves them to be no less consistent or charming.
