Should these two collaborate again, the results could be masterful.

There are still some truly likeable gems, like the imbued danger in What Happened To You and the so daggy it’s cool falsetto and funk keys of Little Darling.

Pike sounds comfortable fronting a band that is clearly doing what they love, despite what anyone else may expect from them.

A cracking day of live music from around the globe, and – with the storm clouds looking ominous in the night sky – stoked that the weather gods did the right thing and kept the ailments away.

With weird skittering beats, and bits of field recordings interacting with synth lines, this is really interesting, forward-thinking techno music that still manages to pack a punch.
