Opposites will divide fans, but if you give it time it will get you in the end.

It’s difficult to pick a highlight of the even-keeled No Fairy Tale, though it’s still a worthy listen.

There are 14 passable songs on the Australian release of Opposites, but longtime fans may well be left wondering where the passion went.

Despite the fact that this work is comprised of bits and bobs from across his career, the album possesses a remarkable cohesiveness, with each piece contributing to the larger story.

Another interesting chapter in the Tegan And Sara discography that, as a whole, is one of the finest in modern music.

If you’re pissed off at someone or you’ve had a particularly bad day it’s definitely worth your while to have it close to hand for playing as loud as you can while you scream along.

Not a terrible album but not an overly listenable one either.

This is neo-soul, funky jazz pop for 2013.
