Rev couldn’t be a better label debut for these Texan psychobilly stalwarts, one hell of a stellar moment in a 28-year career.

Clear is a good 30-minute listen for those requiring eight-string prog-guitars up in their ear holes.

These guys are tight. Nothing’s changed in that department for this Californian metalcore five-piece on their third album Restoring Force.

It was rather on par to seeing Blasko perform at any number of other venues in Sydney, rather than the divine experience the promoters were going for.

The crowd loved him so much (standing ovation) that even though he ran overtime, he invited them to meet him outside on the Spiegeltent steps for an encore.

A Living End-esque riff led into a very different tune that the crowd probably weren’t expecting but enjoyed nevertheless, while the energy-injected last song ended the trio’s non-stop, never quit set of punchy melodic punk.
