Kavi - D-TRIPLE-U

Multi-hyphenate creative Kavi has returned releasing his sophomore single, ‘D-TRIPLE-U’. The single closely follows his bursting onto the scene, queer club spaces ode, ‘REALITY TV’, this time reflecting the comedown after the euphoric high. With the single, the club space that was so soothing becomes the ultimate vice, a distraction from life’s anxieties, creating a soundscape that is as empowering as it is bittersweet.

George Alice - Haunted

George Alice has today released her highly anticipated debut EP, ‘Growing Pains’. Featuring fan favourite previous singles, the EP is produced by Japanese Wallpaper, Ethan Gruska (with previous work alongside Phoebe Bridgers and Remi Wolf) and Xavier Dunn. The EP is an ode to teenage years, a reflection of her emotional and physical journey, that have combined to make her the artist she is today.

Tasman Keith - LOVE TOO SOON

Tasman Keith this week announced the arrival of his forthcoming debut record alongside new, era starting single, ‘LOVE TOO SOON’. The track tells the tale of heartbreak and the pain of mistiming love. It follows closely and completely juxtaposes his previous, bar driven single. It marks the arrival as Tasman as a fully fledged, multi-faceted artist, a transformation that is setting him up for local stardom and international admiration.

Mahalia - Letter To Ur Ex

Grammy nominated, universally adored R&B star Mahalia has today returned, releasing her new single, ‘Letter To Ur Ex’. The track offers an intimate retrospective side of the vocalist, fusing her knowledge and experience of relationships with maturity, as she deconstructs every part of herself. The track reflects on those awkward moments in new relationships where an ex, might still be a touch too involved.

Elsy Wameyo - River Nile

Nairobi-born, Adelaide-based singer, rapper and producer, Elsy Wameyo earlier this week announced the arrival of her debut EP, Nilotic, set for release on the 1st of April. Alongside the news she released new self produced single and self directed music video, ‘River Nile’. ‘River Nile’ ks driven by a slowly plucked bass melody, one that combines perfectly with her quick fire raps, confident delivery moulding seamlessly with a chopped up sample.

Hearteyes - PICSONMYPHONE

Hearteyes has today released his new mixtape, #REALLYCRAZYSUMMER, reflecting a new era for the project following two cult adored, ‘Headbangers’ mixtapes. Channelling the likes of new, internet underground rap music, (embodying the role of the Australian Yeat), he delivers half sung-half rapped vocals over bass and synth heavy production.

Teezo Touchdown - Handyman

Global alternative music enigma, producer, multi-instrumentalist Teezo Touchdown earlier this week shared his latest single, ‘Handyman’. The track once again showcases his clearly esoteric personality, blending is charismatic wit with off kilter production, wrapped in an emo-rock glaze.

Cookii - So Young

It’s been a big week for previously anonymous hyper pop enigmas, both releasing their new single, ‘So Young’, and sharing their identity as a duo. The track is another incredibly delivered warped pop song from the group, one defined by altered vocals, throbbing guitar riffs and heavy percussion.
