"Strings and layered synths lend a '90s vibe, similar to a Savage Garden sounding pop, only with a little more grunge."

Singer-songwriters Gary Thackrah & Justin Penkethman are The Plaidians, here to turn the lights out on indie-pop. The duo's new album Lights Out For The Boy promises some well-orchestrated acoustic beats, with some melancholic and reflective lyrics.

Strings and layered synths lend a '90s vibe, similar to a Savage Garden sounding pop, only with a little more grunge.

Single Lights Out demonstrates atmospheric verses with a very catchy chorus, while second single The Follower lends itself to a slower relaxed vibe. "Where they go you'll follow," true indeed for the Plaidians.
