Moments of fiery glory such as the slow-grind avalanche of Skull Noir, the rusted riptide of Bag Of Snakes or the feedback drill that hollows out closer, Golden Monument, are marooned by a glut of songs indistinguishable from each other. It’s good to mature, but Blood flows at the cost of what made the band memorable in the first place.
