Yellow is far from mellow with its arty, grunge-rock tunes that give it an out-of-this-world strangeness.
From the instrumental tracks like Introduction I and Introduction II through to Scorpion Demo, Naomi Punk sound like they got high and made music for the first time. My Shadow and Matroska give off a nostalgic '80s vibe with quirky synths while Travis Coster's creepy dark vocals in Chains and Journey To The Top make it even more weird.
